Migrations in Cologne

“Migrations” was featured in Ebertplatz on a public video-art channel (Fries-TV) in Cologne, Germany. The many meters long screen scrolls over an outdoor public square.

“Migrations” was originally published by prism international and won the Earle Birney Prize. The poem has also been set to music by Canadian composer Emily Doolittle. You can find the poem in Wavelengths of Your Song (McGill-Queen’s University Press) or in German translation in Wellenlängen deines Liedes (parasitenpresse).

Curated by Philipp-Bo Franke from the Cologne literary magazine Kliteratur. German translation of poem is by Knut Birkholz.
