Story #5 from my linked collection is a finalist in the International Literary Seminars fiction contest (in the top ten). The setting is in Halifax.

Story #1, “Sidereal Time,” set in Vienna, previously won second place in the Sheldon Currie fiction contest and was published in The Antigonish Review.

Story #3, “Stern Paddler,” was previously published in Prairie Fire, in a special issue about the Boreal forest and is set in the Canadian north.
